Women's Soccer Celebration Live Stream
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After winning its second national championship on Monday, Santa Clara women's soccer returned to the Bay Area on Tuesday and will be recognized by the campus community on Wednesday at Stevens Stadium.
Unfortunately, due to capacity limitations, the Women's Soccer Championship Celebration will not be open to the general public. Only a limited number of Santa Clara students, along with faculty and staff, will have access to the facility.
However, the event will be streamed live beginning at 11:45 a.m. and can be accessed here.
Danielle Slaton, who played on the 2001 national championship team, will serve as master of ceremonies.
The 11th-seeded Broncos won their second title by defeating top-ranked Florida State. After a 1-all tie through regulation and two overtime periods, Santa Clara outscored the Seminoles 4-1 in penalty kicks.
