SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball announced its 2020 schedule under first year head coach Gina Carbonatto.

The Broncos open the season at the NorCal Kickoff co-hosted by UC Davis and Sacramento State Feb. 7-9 and follow it up at UC Riverside's Tournament Feb. 14-16.

The Silicon Valley Classic I, co-hosted with San Jose State, will see the home opener Feb. 21 against Yale. The tournament runs through Feb. 23. The Silicon Valley Classic II will be two weeks later from March 6-8.

Feb. 26 will feature a midweek game at local rival San Jose State before a trip to the Capital Classic Feb. 28-March 1, again co-hosed by UC Davis and Sacramento State. Tournament play concludes March 13-14 at the ShareSLO Mustang Classic hosted by Cal Poly.

The Broncos will also play nonconference games at Nevada (March 24), at UC Bakersfield (April 4-5), at Stanford (April 21), and vs. Cal (April 29).

West Coast Conference play begins at Pacific April 10-11 with trips to LMU (April 25-26) and BYU (May 1-2).

The conference home opener is April 18 vs. San Diego. The Broncos will also host Saint Mary's May 8-9 with the final day serving as Senior Day.
