Student-Athlete Spotlight: Hannah Russell

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Hannah Russell is a two-time First Team All-WCC pick for Santa Clara softball. The senior catcher led the team in 2018 with a .331 batting average and followed it up in 2019 with a .320 mark, but her biggest moment came in the field when she caught Aubree Kim's no-hitter as a sophomore.

Eight years old.

Playing alongside such an amazing group of teammates!

Catching Aubree Kim's no-hitter.

Buster Posey.

What is your dream job? 
Working for the NCAA, making a difference for student-athletes

Do you have any softball superstitions?
I always do my hair the same way unless I'm in a slump or have a really bad game. Then I'll do my hair differently or put a ribbon in it.

Adventures in Babysitting

What is one time you can't leave the house without?
Sunscreen.
