SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara softball hits the road to play at Saint Mary's Friday at 3 p.m. and a doubleheader beginning at noon Saturday.

The Broncos earned a split on Saturday with Pacific but fell Sunday in the series finale.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (5-14, 2-4 WCC) had scored 52 runs as a team on 17 doubles, four triples, and one home run.

Ashley Trierweiler is fourth in the country with a .510 batting average and leads the team with a .590 OBP and nine steals in 10 attempts. She also leads with 14 runs scored and had a double and two triples to go with eight RBIs. Emma Bickford is hitting .345 with a team-high five doubles and 15 RBIs while scoring four runs and hitting a triple and a home run. Allyson Ferreira bats .295 with four runs scored and four RBIs.

Lauren Anderson has thrown 29 innings in 10 games, including five starts, and has two complete games. Liyah Lopez has appeared in 11 games and made five starts with two complete games and one shutout. She has tossed 28 1/3 innings.

THE GAELS
Saint Mary's (9-19, 0-3 WCC) hits .239 as a team with 94 runs scored. The Gaels have 23 doubles, four triples, and five home runs.

Indya Smith leads the team with a .317 batting average, seven doubles, and 13 runs scored while adding a home run and seven RBIs. Julia McCormack has a team-best three home runs and 17 RBIs while scoring 10 runs. Jayda Alaan has scored 11 runs with 10 RBIs while hitting .282 and Hannah Chew has 11 RBIs to go with a .288 batting average.

Sofia Earle leads Saint Mary's in ERA (3.24), wins (4), appearances (21), starts (11), complete games (4), innings (80), and strikeouts (95). Kayla Scott has thrown 43 2/3 innings with a shutout and Eileen Perez has tossed 31 1/3 innings.
