Aggie Invitational Draws/Results

DAVIS, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis claimed 12 singles wins and seven more in doubles during the three-day Aggie Invitational at UC Davis, which concluded Sunday.

Jesus Tapiador Barajas, Robert Seby and Kamran Khan were the lone Broncos in action on the final day.

Tapiador Barajas was defeated in the semifinal round in the A draw of singles by top-seeded Bjorn Hoffmann of California 6-1, 6-2. Seby and Khan, the top seed in the B draw of doubles, were upended 8-4 in the final by Matthew Campana and Calvin Jordaan of St. Mary's.

Tapiador Barajas posted a 3-1 mark in singles and teamed with Vasileios Iliopoulos to capture two of three doubles outings.

Seby and Khan paired up for three victories in doubles during the tournament that was played at Mayra Welch Tennis Center.

Khan, Connor Garnett and Andrew Gu each won twice in singles.
