SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After advancing to the 25th NCAA Tournament in program history a year ago, No. 21 Santa Clara women's soccer will make another run at the postseason in 2016. The Broncos will be looking for their 11th West Coast Conference title this season, after being picked second by the league's coaches.

Fans can support the team by purchasing season tickets. They are on sale here for $72 for an adult or $60 for a youth/senior. After winning their lone exhibition 4-0 over Seattle, the Broncos kick off the season Aug. 19 vs. No. 11 USC.

Santa Clara will host four teams ranked in the NSCAA Preseason Poll (No. 11 USC, No. No. 13 Notre Dame, No. 25 LMU) and six teams that made the NCAA Tournament in 2015 (USC, Cal, Marquette, Wisconsin, Notre Dame, and Minnesota).

WCC rivals Pacific, Saint Mary's, Gonzaga, and Portland will make trips to Stevens Stadium this season as well.

The Broncos return Julie Vass who led the team in goals and points a year ago with eight and 17 respectively. Vass' play earned her First Team All-West Region and First Team All-WCC. Santa Clara also welcomes back junior Kellie Peay who was named Second Team All-West Region and Second Team All-WCC. Janae Gonzalez and Jazmin Jackmon were named to the All-WCC freshman team a year ago and return for their sophomore campaigns.

There will also be 10 newcomers on the rosters that fans will be able to get a look at for the first time.
