SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer has added Julie Doyle to the 2017 roster. Doyle is from Laguna Niguel, Calif. and attended Junipero Serra High School. She played club for San Diego Surf.

Doyle has been part of the U15, U18, and U20 USA Women's National Teams since 2013. She has been to 13 domestic camps and seven international camps and events. She is a two-time US Youth Soccer ODP national champion and a two-time Youth Soccer ODP Regional IV Champions with the Cal South 98's in 2014 and 15. She was named to the All-Star Tournament team or her play with the 98's. In 2016 Doyle was an alternate on the U20 USA Woman's National Team for the 2016 World Cup.

IMG Academy has her ranked at No. 6 in the national player rankings and No. 4 in the positional player rankings. Last year she was named to  the ECNL Id/2 Best XI.

She was a team captain at Junipero Serra High School in 2016 and 2017 while being named Offensive Player of the Year and All-Trinity League in 2015.

Doyle was the leading goal scorer for the San Diego Surf in 2013-14 and 2014-15. She was the U13 and U14 team captain and the team has won five Surf Cup championships. Four times the team has been a national semifinalist in the ECNL Champions League and two times was the ECNL Southwest conference champion.

In 2015 and 2016 she was named to the NSCAA Youth All-America Team. Doyle was also the 2014 Puma Women's Elite Showcase MVP.

She has won the League Cup in the Coast Soccer League twice, won the U13 National Futsal Championship while playing up, and the U11 Cal South State Cup championship as well.

Off the field Doyle enjoys, sleeping, going to the beach, and spending time with friends. She plans to major in communications.
