Women's Water Polo Closes Regular Season Saturday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's water polo team closes regular season play with a Golden Coast Conference game against Pacific.

The Broncos travel to play the eighth-ranked Tigers (13-8, 6-0) on Saturday at noon in Chris Kjeldsen Pool.

"At this point in the season, we are looking to play our best water polo going into conference championships," said head coach Keith Wilbur. "UOP is the top team in our conference, so it is a great opportunity to play them the week before our playoffs."

Santa Clara (8-15, 1-5) will compete in the GCC Championship beginning Friday, April 26, in Fresno, California.

NOTES
Hannah Buck, Emma Allegrucci, Annie Eldredge and Hailey Eberle have started all 23 games. Lauren Paxton and Maggie Oys have each started all but one. Lydia Dadd has started 20 games in goal.
• Buck is the team's leading scorer with 40 goals and is first in kickouts drawn (56). She has 14 multi-goal games.
• Eldredge is first on the team in both assists (40) and steals (32), and tied for second in goals (28). She entered this week first in the Golden Coast Conference in assists. Eldredge has at least one assist in all but three games.
• Eberle is tied second on the team in goals (28), and ranks second in both assists (28) and steals (26). Allegrucci is second in kickouts drawn (40).
