SANTA CALRA, Calif. – West Coast Conference play begins as Santa Clara softball heads to Saint Mary's for a three-game set. The teams will play a doubleheader Saturday at noon and 2 p.m. before concluding the series Sunday at noon.
The Broncos dropped a midweek game to Stanford Tuesday.

THE BRONCOS

THE GAELS
Saint Mary's (7-26, 0-0 WCC) has been outscored 206-79 on the season. The Gaels are batting .221 as a team with 27 doubles, a triple, and seven home runs. They have a team ERA of 7.52.
Dylan Linton has a team-best .293 batting average to go with 11 runs scored and eight RBIs. Julia McCormack leads the Gaels with 15 RBIs and has hit three home runs to tie for the team lead. Kalissa Heihn has also hit three home runs to go with 11 runs scored. Bailey Lotz's 14 runs scored lead Saint Mary's.
Eryn McCoy has appeared in a team-high 23 games and made seven starts with two complete games. Her 79 innings lead the team. Eileen Perez has appeared in 22 games and made a team-leading 13 starts with four complete games, also a team-high. She has a team-best 57 strikeouts in 74 1/3 innings pitched.
