SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The Santa Clara women's tennis team fell Friday afternoon 5-2 to the San Francisco Dons in a West Coast Conference clash at Golden Gate Park. The Broncos took the doubles point with wins by Myra Davoudi and Lindsay McBride and Carmen Pham and Courtney Hull. However, the Dons rallied in singles to grab the victory. Pham picked up the Broncos only singles win in the dual match.
Santa Clara is now 1-5 on the season. The Broncos get right back into action on Sunday, Feb. 17 against another WCC, Saint Mary's. The match begins at 2 p.m. PT at the Degheri Tennis Center on the SCU campus.
