This weekend marks the end of the women's tennis regular season and it will be the final appearances for seniors Myra Davoudi and Lindsay McBride at the Degheri Tennis Center. Davoudi and McBride have been key players for the Broncos this season and they are looking to come away with wins against San Francisco and Texas Pan-American to finish out their careers at SCU.

"It's kind of a bittersweet feeling," said Davoudi about the season ending. "I'm excited to finish out the season at home but it came up so fast."

On the same note, "It's going to be weird playing at home for the last time," said McBride. "I don't think it's going to hit me right away. I think the matches are going to be good, I'm excited to play."

The players came away with two consecutive doubles wins last weekend against Washington State and Idaho, and they will look to extend the streak this weekend. Both players have been vital to the Broncos' success in singles and doubles this season.

"Lindsay and Myra have been huge for us," said head coach Ben Cabell of the senior duo. "They have been an anchor at the top of the line up and I feel great about putting them on the court. They always have a good chance to win every match. They have done a very good job being team leaders and have represented SCU very well."

Both players and Coach Cabell are looking forward to this weekend's matches and finishing out the regular season at home.

"We have a good chance to beat San Francisco," Cabell commented. "This is a great chance to build confidence and momentum going into the WCC tournament."

Come out and support the Broncos at this Saturday's Senior Day match against the University of San Francisco. First serve is set for 10 a.m. SCU is back in action for its final regular-season contest on Monday against Texas-Pan American. First serve is slated for 1 p.m. Both matches will be played at Degheri Tennis Center.
