The women's Bronco tennis team has two upcoming home games this week. On Wednesday, March 12, the Broncos take on the UC Davis Aggies. The match will begin at 2 p.m. at the Delgheri Tennis Center. Coming up this weekend, the Broncos host Cal State Bakersfield on Saturday, March 15. The match will also being at 2 p.m. at Delgheri Tennis Center.
Last Week
Women's tennis took home a big win last week in a rivalry series match over San Jose State, winning 6-1. In the match against the Spartans, Santa Clara saw strong play from both singles and doubles. Doubles pairs of Myra Davoudi and Lindsay McBride, and Carmen Pham and Courtney Hull pulled out big wins to get the doubles point. Singles saw strong wins from freshman Carmen Pham and Ashley Pane.

Freshman Duo: The freshman doubles pair of Carmen Pham and Courtney Hull are on a two match winning streak. They defeated San Jose State's pair of Jennifer Williams and Anna Guzman 8-4 last week. The pair began their streak at Pacific, defeating the pair of Kateryna Nezhura and Clara Schuhmacher 8-3.
Last Match Against UC Davis: Last year, the Broncos fell to the Aggies 5-2 at Davis. Santa Clara's two points came from singles wins by Casey Knutson and Kim Daniel who defeated Robin Guier and Emma Shapiro, respectively. The Broncos also saw strong doubles play by Casey Knutson and Erika Barnes.
