SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Broncos' women's tennis team rolled over Cal State Bakersfield Saturday afternoon 6-1 at the Degheri Tennis Center. The Broncos dominated singles play, which was played before doubles matches due to windy weather conditions. The women played strong matches across the board, nearly sweeping the match.

In singles action, the Broncos went 5-1. Both Stephanie Galainena and Courtney Hull swept their respective opponents, Leslie Bagley and Ashlee Thorneycroft, 6-0, 6-0. Their dominant play was consistent throughout all six singles matches.

It was the same story in doubles as the Broncos won all three matches. Lindsey McBride and Carmen Pham swept the CSUB doubles team of Sara Mijwel and Ashlee Thorneycroft 8-0.

The Broncos next match up is against Wyoming at the Degheri Tennis Center on Saturday, March 22. The match is set to start at 10 a.m.
