Kristin Le Leads Broncos Into Denver's 19-Team Tournament

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara's Kristin Le is off to a great start to her sophomore season. After earning an All-West Coast Conference award as a freshman, Le has posted back-to-back top-10 finishes in each of the Broncos first two events.

The graduate of Hawaii's Punahou School will lead Santa Clara into a 19-team field at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Colorado this weekend.  Le fired a one-under par 71 in opening-round play at the Classic Club two weeks ago. She placed 3rd overall among a field of 82. In a rain-shortened opening event in Utah she shot a 73 and 76 to tie for 10th. 

The Broncos as team are playing well, posting top-tier finishes both times out. Along with Le, SCU will go with a lineup of Annie Freman, Meghan Shain, Monique Riley and Cynthia Navis - her first-ever collegiate event.
