Freman Named First Team All-WCC

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Annie Freman of Santa Clara women's golf was named First Team All-WCC. It is the second honor for Freman who was also named to the first team in 2014 when she was the WCC Freshman of the Year.

Freman finished tied for second at the WCC Championship with a 4-under 68. She finished in the top five in seven of her final eight tournaments this season and had eight top-10 finishes.

Freman was named WCC Golfer of the Month for April after finishing with a pair of top-five finishes, including a victory at the Fresno State Classic.

She has a program-record five career individual titles, with two coming this season.
