Monique Riley Finishes 7-Under, Nearly Winning The Ron Moore Intercollegiate

HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. - Santa Clara's Monique Riley was terrific this weekend in Colorado, just missing winning the 2015 Ron Moore Intercollegiate by one stroke. The senior from Pleasanton, Calif. and Amador Valley High School, shot 7-under par, which included a final round 69 on Sunday.

Riley shot the three best rounds of her career (70-70-69) during the three-day event in Highlands Ranch, just outside of Denver. The Broncos did not have another player place among the top-50, so SCU settled for a tie for 9th as a team. The field consisted of 99 golfers and 19 teams.

Santa Clara's Colby Invitational at Silver Creek Country Club (San Jose, Calif.) is up next, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 19-20.
