Women's Golf Adds Three for 2016-17

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's golf has added three players for next season's roster. The Broncos will welcome incoming freshmen Isabella Seeburger and Chloe Wong, as well as sophomore-transfer Keilyn Ing.

Seeburger is from San Clemente, California and attended San Clemente High School.

Seeburger helped lead her high school team to the 2015 South Coast League championship. She was a four-year varsity letter winner and was named All-South Coast League all four years of high school.

She spent the last two seasons as team captain and this season was voted the MVP while leading the team in scoring average.

Seeburger also competed in junior events on the SCPGA, SDJGA, AJGA, and Future Champions Tours. She won multiple tournaments and frequently finished in the top-10. She has also competed in SCGA and USGA events, including qualifying for the Southern California Women's Amateur, US Women's Amateur, and US Women's Open.

Off the course Seeburger was her class valedictorian and a member of the National Honor Society. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, going to concerts, hanging out at the beach, working out, and napping.

Wong is from Honolulu, Hawaii and attended Iolani High School.

Wong helped her team finish first in conference her freshman year and second her junior and senior years. In 2016 she finished third at the 2016 IHL high school championships and qualified for state. They tied for first in 2015 at the International High School Tournament. Wong finished t-10th at the FCG International Junior Golf Championships in 2015 and was a California Women's Amateur Championships semifinalist in 2013. She was given the Presidential Athletic Award and Coach's Choice Award in 2015.

Off the course she was on the honor roll in 2010 and 2011 and on the Headmasters List in 2012. In her free time she enjoys violin, art, writing, reading, singing, dancing, aikido, horseback riding, surfing, and hiking.

Ing is from Honolulu, Hawaii and is transferring after one season at Portland State.

Last season Ing's best round was a 68 and her highest finish was tying for sixth at the GCU Invite.

As a senior at Iolani High School her team finishes second at the HHSAA State Tournament. The year prior her team took second as well and Ing was named Second Team All-IHL. As a sophomore she was First Team All-IHL. Her freshman year saw Iolani win the state tournament and Ing was named Second Team All-IHL.

Ing is also a three-time recipient of the Eddie K Hamada Award.

In 2013 Ing was a Girls' Junior America's Cup Hawaii team member and an Asia Pacific Cup Hawaii team member. That same season she finished in first player at the Dave and Buster's Junior Championship and qualified for the U.S. Girls' Junior Amateur.

Off the course she enjoys surfing and photography.
