Sarah Busey Named Wisconsin State Golf Association Female Player of the Year

WEST ALLIS, Wisc. – Santa Clara junior women's golfer Sarah Busey has been named the Wisconsin State Golf Association Women's Player of the Year.

The Racine, Wisc. Native won the two biggest events for women's amateurs in the state, the Women's State Amateur and the State Match Play. She also finished in a tie for fourth at Wisconsin's qualifier of the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship.

As a sophomore at Santa Clara, Busy was named First Team All-West Coast Conference and competed in all of the team's 10 events while leading the Broncos in five.
