SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's golf is ready to keep the momentum rolling this week with a two-day stay in Cincinnati, Ohio for the Bearcat Invitational, Monday and Tuesday. The Broncos are coming off a tie for third finish at last week's USF Invitational.

NOTES

• The Broncos are coming off a great outing at the USF Invitational, tying for third at 1-over 853. SCU had five newcomers finish in the top-30 of the field in the Bronco debuts. 
• The 2022 Bearcat Invitational will be played at the Coldstream Country Club with 36 holes to be played on Monday and the remainding 18 holes to be played out on Tuesday. 
• The 13-team field includes Santa Clara, host-Cincinnati, Louisville, Kentucky, Memphis, UNCG, Rutgers, Sam Houston State, Illinois State, Lamar, Miami (Ohio), Xavier and Ball State. 
• Santa Clara's lineup for the two-day event will be Viraj Garewal, Julien Paltrinieri, Calder Overfelt, Nolan Forsman and Oscar Zimmerman.
• Garewal is coming an impressive debut as a Bronco with a tie for 6th at the USF Invitational. The Davidson transfer was 3-under 210 and turned in a 66 in his first round of play.
• Paltrinieri was also incredibly impressive with a tie for 8th at 2-under. Overfelt, a true freshman, tied for 27th in the first collegiate action.
