CINCINNATI, Ohio - Senior men's golfer Nolan Forsman secured his second-career top-20 finish on Tuesday, carding a 1-over 72 in the final round of the Bearcat Invitational to finish in a tie for 19th at 1-over 73-69-72--214.
The finish is Forsman's second-best in his Bronco career behind the 2021 Wildhorse Classic in which he won medalist honors as a sophomore. He turned in four birdies as part of Tuesday's final round.
Viraj Garewal (73-70-73--215) tied for 25th at 3-over while the trio of Julien Paltrinieri (76-73-73--222), Oscar Zimmerman (75-70-77--222) and Calder Overfelt (72-73-77--222) all tied for 50th at 9-over.
As a team, Santa Clara finished 10th at 18-over 293-282-295--870. Host-Cincinnati (7-under 845) edged out UNGC (6-under 846) for the team title while the Bearcats' Sam Jean won medalist honors at 7-under 206.
