SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis are back in action on Friday at the Saint Mary's Invitational in Moraga, California. The three-day event hosted by Saint Mary's will be played at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex on campus.
"This is another opportunity for us to play some matches with a full team. I'm excited about having Madison back on the court after her injuries last season," said Broncos head coach Ben Cabell. "Caitlyn Frankel had a great weekend overall at the Cal Invitational as she stepped it up and showed why she's a senior. So I'm looking forward to seeing the team continue to build off of such a performance."
Frankel and sophomore Jamie Schroer won the doubles consolation bracket of the B flight at the Cal Invitational.
In last year's SMC Fall Invitational, Schroer recorded a team-high four wins, including three singles victories to advance to the semifinals of the B Draw.
