FULLERTON, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis concluded play at the Cal State Fullerton Invite with five more victories on Sunday to finish the three-day tournament with a total of 10 singles and 11 doubles wins.

On Sunday, the Broncos collected three singles triumphs against players from Grand Canyon and won two matches against Pacific's doubles teams in the hidden dual match format tournament where individual records count but not the team records.

Jamie Schroer was the lone Bronco to pick up wins in both singles and doubles.  The Bronco sophomore defeated Celina Buhr of Grand Canyon 6-3, 6-4 and paired up with Caitlyn Frankel to beat Pacific's doubles team of Georgia Townsend and Danielle Zamora 6-0.

Other Bronco singles victories came courtesy of Giulia Hayer who took down Ludovica Infantino 6-3, 7-5 and Lindsey Pesqueira was victorious over Martina Lo Pumo in three sets 2-6, 6-2, 1-0 (12-10).

Maddie Pothoff and Elvena Gevargiz handled Karina Vyrlan and Zoe Eberle 6-2 for the other doubles win by the Broncos.

Santa Clara will open up the dual match season when they host Cal Poly on Jan. 31 at the Degheri Tennis Center.
