SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara men's tennis player Vasileios Iliopoulos has been named West Coast Conference All-Academic honorable mention for the 2019-20 season.  The conference made the announcement on Friday.  

 

To be recognized, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum 3.20 cumulative grade point average based on the most recently completed term, have at least sophomore athletic and academic standing with at least one year in residence completed.  

 

Iliopoulos, a senior, has a 3.324 GPA in finance.  The Athens, Greece native finished the fall ranked No. 52 in doubles by ITA and captured the UC Davis Aggie Invitational doubles title along with Arthur Neuhaus.  Iliopoulos finished the spring with seven-straight singles wins and posted team-high 11 singles victories.
