SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The 2021-22 Santa Clara men's basketball schedule was unveiled in conjunction with the West Coast Conference releasing the league slate.
The Broncos will play 10 of their 15 nonconference games at home beginning with the season opener against Cal State Fullerton on Nov. 9. That will be followed by a matchup against Stanford in Leavey Center on Nov. 12.
The 16-contest WCC schedule starts on Dec. 30 at Pacific. The league home opener follows two days later against San Diego.
The Broncos play every WCC team twice with the exception of BYU (Jan. 27 at home) and Pepperdine (Feb. 24 on the road).
Key conference home contests include matchups with local rivals Saint Mary's (Jan. 6) and San Francisco (Feb. 12). Gonzaga will make its annual visit to Leavey Center on Jan. 15.
A challenging nonconference schedule also features home games against Nevada (Nov. 16), UC Irvine (Nov. 27), Hawai'i (Nov. 30) and Montana (Dec. 19), and road tilts vs. Cal (Dec. 11) and Boise State (Dec. 14). There will also be matchups on Nov. 22 and 24 against two yet-to-be determined opponents in the SoCal Challenge in San Juan Capistrano, California.
The 2022 University Credit Union WCC Men's and Women's Basketball Tournament will be held March 3-8 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
