NOTES

  • The Broncos are set to play their final three games of the nonconference slate with back-to-back home games vs. Florida A&M and Montana before taking a short trip to San Jose State to round out their fourth game in seven days. 

  • Santa Clara is currently the nation's 17th-best shooting team with a 49.1 percent mark from the floor. They are also 25th in free-throw percentage (77.7) and 37th in 3-point percentage (37.7).

  • After missing eight-straight games due to illness, three-time All-WCC player Josip Vrankic is back in the lineup once again. Vrankic is currently averaging 15.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game. He opened the season with 29 points against Cal State Fullerton and followed with 16 against Stanford. Vrankic returned to the lineup against Boise State and tied for the team lead with 12 points in limited minutes. 

  • Florida A&M is currently 2-7 and on a three-game losing skid. The Rattlers, led by fourth-year head coach Robert McCullum, is averaging just over 62 points per game and shooting just 39.8 percent from the floor. They have one of the top players in the MEAC in M.J. Randolph, who leads the conference with 18.2 points per game and is 10th nationally with 2.67 steals per game. 

  • This will be the first meeting between the programs on the hardwood. 

EVENT PROTOCOL - INDOOR
In response to evolving changes brought about by the COVID-19 Delta variant, Santa Clara University has recently updated its event policies. As we welcome patrons into our facilities, we share the following campus policy for indoor athletic events:

For athletic events held in seated indoor venues, SCU requires spectators to provide pre-attendance proof of vaccination verification OR proof of a negative antigen test within 24 hours of the event OR PCR lab-based test within 72 hours of the event. Individuals under the age of 12 are exempt from providing proof of vaccination and testing. In addition, masks are required for all attendees. Click here for detailed instructions.

HOW TO WATCH
The game will be streamed live on the WCC Network. Anthony Passarelli will have the play-by-play call. 

HOW TO LISTEN
All home games and road contests can be heard on the TuneIn app (Premium). A select number of games can be heard on KDOW-AM 1220.  Anthony Passarelli (play-by-play) calls the action in his 15th season as Voice of the Broncos. The Lunardi's Pregame Show begins at 5:50 p.m.

PARKING
