NOTES

  • The Broncos are coming off a 70-58 win over Hawai'i to improve to 6-2 on the year. They will host Louisiana Tech on Saturday and Mount St. Mary's on Tuesday to round out a four-game home stand before road trips to Cal and Boise State.

  • Santa Clara will look to continue their success in home games after starting the year 5-1 at home. The Broncos have won 25 of their last 26 games against nonconference opponents inside the Leavey Center dating back to 2018.

  • Jalen Williams,  a preseason all-conference pick after earning honorable mention honors a season ago, is coming off the first 30-point game of his career against Hawai'i. It is the second-highest scoring total by a WCC player this season behind Gonzaga's Drew Timme (37 pts vs. Texas). Williams leads the WCC with 19.1 points per game and has three games of 20-plus points.

  • Keshawn Justice continues to dominate on all facets of his game eight games into the season. Not only is he a reliable scorer (third on team with 14.8 ppg), he also is the second-leading rebounder in the WCC at 8.0 rebounds per game. Justice is shooting 47.7 percent from beyond the arc (2nd in WCC; 24th nationally) and has a WCC-leading three double-doubles on the year. He is coming of his most recent, an 18-point, 10-rebound night against Hawai'i.

  •  Santa Clara is currently ranked 12th nationally in both total field goal percentage (50.8 percent) and 3-pt field goal percentage (40.9 percent).

  •  Lousiana Tech is 5-2 on the year and coming off of an 87-60 win over Texas Southern. The Bulldogs average 81.7 points per game, good for 41st nationally with their do-everything forward Kenny Lofton, Jr. leading the charge. Loften is averaging a double-double of 17.7 points and 10.7 rebounds, and has four such games this year (12th nationally). This will be the first-ever meeting between the programs on the hardwood.
