NOTES

  • The Broncos are closing thier two-game road trip with a trip to Boise, Idaho to take on Boise State on Tuesday in a 6:00 p.m. PT tip. Following that, Santa Clara will host two more home games (Florida A&M and Montana) before putting a bow on the nonconference slate with a quick trip to San Jose State on Dec. 21. 

  • The Broncos are going for win No. 8 on Tuesday in their first trip to Boise in 32 years. Santa Clara holds a 4-0 record over their blue and orange equine counterparts, however the teams have not squared off on the hardwood since 1989. 

  • Santa Clara is sixth in the WCC standings with just about three weeks remaining from the start of conference play. 

  • Santa Clara is currently the nation's 15th-best shooting team with a 49.5 percent mark from the floor, and also rank 15th with 181 total assists. 

  • Boise State is 6-4 on the season and is riding a three-game win streak dating back to Dec. 3. The Broncos are one of the top defensive teams in the nation, limiting opponents to just 59.1 points per game (24th nationally). They are led individually by Abu Kigab's 14.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. 

  • This will be the fifth meeting all-time between the programs. Santa Clara is currently undefeated at 4-0 with their last meeting taking place in 1989, a 69-38 win in Santa Clara. This will be their first game played at Boise since Jan. 7, 1989 (W, 53-51).  

  • Jalen Williams (19.5 ppg - second in WCC) and Keshawn Justice (four double-doubles, 7.26 defensive rebounds per game) have continued their high level of play as two of the premier players in the WCC. Both have scored 10 or more points in each game this season and rank in the top 15 nationally in several key categories.

The game will be streamed live on CBS Sports Network. Rich Waltz will have the play-by-play call with Pete Gillen serving as the analyst. 

HOW TO LISTEN
All home games and road contests can be heard on the TuneIn app (Premium). A select number of games can be heard on KDOW-AM 1220, including Saturday's matchup with Cal.  Anthony Passarelli (play-by-play) calls the action in his 15th season as Voice of the Broncos.
