No.10 Women's Soccer Hosts Seattle Thursday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer returns to Stevens Stadium to take on Seattle Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

The Broncos opened the season with a 3-0 win over San Jose State and a 1-1 draw at Cal.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 3-0 all-time against Seattle with the first meeting coming in 1984. The last meeting was a 4-1 Bronco win in Seattle.

EVENT PROTOCOL
All Santa Clara Athletics home events will operate in compliance with state, county, and university COVID-19 guidelines. While masks are not required for outdoor events on campus, we highly encourage fans to wear masks especially when social distancing guidelines cannot be met or when others around you are eating or drinking. Seating in Stevens Stadium is general admission and we encourage everyone to utilize appropriate social distancing in the stands and common areas. Updates will be provided should there be an adjustment in protocol.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (1-0-1) has scored four goals while allowing one in the first two games of the season. The Broncos have outshot their opponents 47-15 and hold a 21-7 edge in shots on target.

Kelsey Turnbow leads the team with two goals and four points. Marika Guay and Cianna Elmazaj have both scored with Alyssa Bourgeois adding an assist.

Marlee Nicolos has a 0.45 GAA and six saves for a .857 save percentage.

THE REDHAWKS
Seattle (1-1) has outscored opponents 2-1 while being outshot 22-15 and 10-9 in shots on goal.

Leahi Manthei and Bailey Hall have scored the two goals for the Redhawks.

Jessica Berlin and and Madison Waguespack have both started one game in net. Berlin has three saves and allowed one goal and Waguespack has made five saves with a shutout.

Tickets are available either online or at Stevens Stadium prior to the match. Purchase tickets online and avoid waiting at the stadium box office which opens one hour prior to kickoff. The ticket office also handles inquiries on group tickets.

PARKING
For weekday matches, the Leavey Center lot (see below for access), located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to kickoff. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located adjacent to Stevens Stadium on Palm Drive.
