Busy Week for Men's Golf

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - After nearly two weeks off from competition, Santa Clara men's golf will participate in two events this week.

The Broncos head to Eugene, Oregon, to take part in the 15-team Duck Invitational which is set for Monday and Tuesday on the University of Oregon's home course. Per Lane County guidelines, spectators are not permitted at the venue. 

Berk Harvey, Matt McCarty, Jack Avrit, Konrad Brauckmeyer and Alex Conley will comprise the Santa Clara lineup that will play on the par-71, 7,015-yard Eugene Country Club course.

This will be the second trip to the Beaver State this month for the Broncos who finished tied for sixth at the Bandon Dunes Championship (March 8-9).

Santa Clara will participate in The Goodwin at Stanford, a three-day tournament that begins on Thursday.

Harvey has the lowest stroke average on the team at 70.67. He finished in the top 10 at both the Bandon Dunes Championship and the Sacramento State Invitational (March 1-2). Avrit is second at 72.17.

The Duck Invitational features 36 holes on Monday and 18 on Tuesday. Start time is 8:30 a.m. each day. Follow the scoring on Golfstat.com.
