Men's Golfer Heads to PGA Tour Canada Qualifying Event

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Matt McCarty of Santa Clara men's golf is set to play in the Mackenzie Tour – PGA Tour Canada Qualifying Tournament this week.

McCarty will be one of 104 players seeking one of six exempt positions and additional conditional status on the tour in the 72-hole, four-day tournament that begins on Tuesday at Wigwam Golf Club in Litchfield Park, Arizona.

The senior is coming off a busy week having played in two tournaments with the Broncos. He finished tied for 16th at the Duck Invitational and tied for ninth at The Goodwin.

McCarty will tee off at 11:35 a.m. MST on Tuesday and 8:25 a.m. the following day. Follow the leaderboard for scoring.
