SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Sitting in second place in the West Coast Conference standings, Santa Clara women's basketball returns to action Saturday at 2 p.m. vs. Pepperdine. The Broncos took down LMU 68-41 on Thursday for their 20th win of the season.

It is the 10th time Santa Clara has won 20 games in a season and the first since 2007-08 when the Broncos finished 20-11 and second in the WCC.

Their 11th conference win is also the most since 2005-06 when the team finished 11-3 and tied for first in the WCC.

The ticket office is also open one hour prior to the start of the game. During games, Chad Cardinal and Jesse Moreno of the ticket operations staff will be located above Section 105 to answer questions.

Game Promotions: The game will serve as a Think Pink game. Fans are encouraged to wear pink in support of breast cancer awareness. Carol Dellinger, a six-year breast cancer survivor, will serve as honorary coach for the Broncos.

Santa Clara is outscoring opponents 65.2-56.8 and outrebounding teams 41.0-33.0. The Broncos shoot 39.9percent from the field and have hit 94 3-pointers as a team. They are No. 10 in the country with 581 free throws attempted and No. 13 with 398 free throws made.

The Broncos are also third nationally in steals (335) and steals per game (12.9) and ninth with 22.2 turnovers forced per game.

Lori Parkinson leads the team with 11.4 points per game and 6.4 rebounds per game. She is fourth in the WCC with 1.0 blocks per game and fifth with 2.3 spg.

Marie Bertholdt is tops on the team with 97 free throws made and 125 attempted while scoring 9.4 ppg and grabbing 6.3 rpg. She is second with 50 assists as well.

Savanna Hanson leads Santa Clara with 23 3-pointers made and 2.4 apg. She is scoring 8.4 ppg and averaging 2.3 spg.

Taylor Berry is second in the WCC with 2.5 spg and adds 7.6 ppg and 4.0 rpg.

Santa Clara is 36-35 all-time vs. Pepperdine and 20-13 at Leavey. The first meeting came in 1978-79. Earlier this year the Broncos took down the Waves 62-60 in Malibu.

Pepperdine is being outscored on the season 72.6-63.2 and outrebounded 38.9-35.7. The Waves shoot 38.3 percent from the field and 33.2 percent from beyond the arc.

Erica Ogwumike is second in the WCC in scoring with 18.4 ppg and leads the team in rebounding with 7.5 pg. She is also tops with 51 steals and second with 61 assists.

Paige Fecske leads Pepperdine with 77 assists and is adding 7.8 ppg and 3.2 rpg. Olivia Ogwumike scored 9.3 ppg and grabs 4.3 rpg while Keitra Wallace is scoring 8.5 ppg and grabbing 4.4 rpg.
