Lori Parkinson Named to WCC Women's Basketball All-Tournament Team

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Junior forward Lori Parkinson of Santa Clara women's basketball was named to the WCC Women's Basketball All-Tournament Team after leading the Broncos to the semifinals for the first time since 2010. She is the only member of the All-Tournament Team that was not on the two teams to make the finals.

Parkinson, a First Team All-WCC selection, averaged 21.5 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game in Santa Clara's two contests. She also added 3.0 steals per game and 1.5 assists per game as well.

Against Gonzaga in the quarterfinals Parkinson scored 19 points on 7 of 12 shooting to go with seven rebounds, three steals, two assists, and a block.

In the semis vs. top-seeded BYU, she led the Broncos with 24 points and grabbed seven boards while picking up three steals and an assist.

Santa Clara will find out its postseason fate on March 14. The NCAA field will be announced at 4 p.m. PST with the WNIT field announced the same day before midnight.
