Women's Soccer Travels to Cal Sunday

SANTA CLARA, Calif.– Looking to keep the winning streak going, Santa Clara women's soccer heads to Bay Area rival Cal Sunday at 3 p.m.

The Broncos stayed hot Friday night with an impressive 4-0 win over Arizonato cap a perfect three-game homestand.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 19-22-7 all-time against Cal with the first meeting coming in 1980. Last year the Broncos topped the Bears 4-1 in the home opener.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (4-3) has outscored its opponents 20-9 and hasn't allowed a goal in the last three matches. The Broncos also have a 105-61 edge in shots and 56-36 in shots on goal. They have drawn 49 corner kicks while surrendering just 18.

Izzy D'Aquila leads the WCC with seven goals, 14th in the nation and third amongst freshmen nationally, and 16 points. Kelsey Turnbow is right on her heels with five goals and 15 points with a league-high five assists. Kelcie Hedge has added four assists and a goal with Julie Doyle and Machaela George each picking up two assists.

Courtney Ogren has started all seven games and allowed nine goals for a 1.36 GAA. She has 26 saves and a .743 save percentage with two solo shutouts and one combined. 

THE GOLDEN BEARS
Cal (6-0) has yet to concede a goal while scoring 14. The Bears have outshot their opponents 93-29 and 35-7 in shots on target.

Emma Westin's six goals and 12 points lead the team. Luca Deza has scored three times with Denae Antoine and Paige Metayer scoring twice apiece. Mia Corbin has a team-leading four assists.

Angelina Anderson has started six games and made seven saves with five solo shutouts and one combined.
