Women's Soccer Receives United Soccer Coaches 2018-19 College Team Academic Award

KANSAS CITY, MO. – Santa Clara women's soccer was named one of United Soccer Coaches 2018-19 College Team Academic Award winners for posting a GPA of 3.38 as a team during the last academic year. To qualify a team must post a team GPA over 3.0.

Last season the Broncos had seven players honored by the West Coast Conference for their work in the classroom, including Natalie Kennedy who was named WCC All-Academic. Kelcie Hedge, Sofia Jones, Melissa Lowder, Gabbie McWilliams, DB Pridham, and Kelsey Turnbow were named honorable mention.

Kennedy leads the team with a cumulative GPA of 3.99 GPA as a Public Health Science major. Eighteen others finished the Spring 2019 quarter with a cumulative GPA over 3.0.
