No. 20 Women's Soccer Faces No. 13 Oklahoma State in Second Round of NCAA Tournament

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – No. 20 Santa Clara women's soccer faces No. 13 Oklahoma State in the second round of the NCAA Tournament Friday at 11 a.m. at USC.

The Broncos opened the tournament with a 1-0 overtime win against Cal at Stevens Stadium.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 0-0-1 all-time against Oklahoma State. The only other meeting was a 1-1 draw at Santa Clara in 2009 in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Broncos advanced on penalty kicks.

NCAA TOURNAMENT HISTORY
Santa Clara is in the 29th NCAA Tournament in program history. The Broncos have made it five years in a row and 10 of the last 11. They have been to 10 College Cups and won the 2001 national championship.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (14-5-2) is riding a 12-match unbeaten streak (10-0-2) and is seventh in the nation with 2.67 goals per game and sixth with 2.62 assists per game and 7.95 points per game. The Broncos have a 350-189 advantage in shots and a 176-107 edge in shots on goal.

Kelsey Turnbow is 11th in the country with 38 points and 20th with 10 assists to go along with a team-high tying 14 goals. Izzy D'Aquila also has 14 goals, which is tied for the most among freshman in the country and has 32 points. Kelcie Hedge has scored five goals with eight assists and Maddy Gonzalez has scored five times with four assists. Machaela George and Alex Loera each have four goals with six and three assists respectively.

Courtney Ogren has started 18 games in net while posting a 1.41 GAA. She has made 66 saves had has a .750 save percentage. Sophie Whitehouse has started three and allowed one goal for a 0.17 GAA. She has made 18 saves and has a .947 save percentage. Ogren and Whitehouse have teamed for 10 shutouts.

THE COWGIRLS
Oklahoma State (16-2-3) has won nine of 10. The Cowgirls have outscored opponents 49-15 and outshot teams 296-233 with a 134-90 edge in shots on target.

Grace Yochum leads the team with 11 goals and is second with 23 points. Jaci Jones's 12 assists are tied for eighth in the country and she has added seven goals for a team-high 26 points. Gabriella Coleman has scored eight times with seven others finding the back of the net at least once.

Dani Greenlee has played in 19 games and allowed 12 goals for a 0.66 GAA. She also has 53 saves and a .815 save percentage. Greenlee, Hannah Warner, and Brylee Brasher have combined for 10 clean sheets.
