Meet the Future of Bronco Baseball – Quinton Low

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball announced the fourth member of the 2021 recruiting class, Quinton Low, a two-way player from Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colorado.

"I chose Santa Clara because of the wonderful coaching staff and environment they have, along with the connection I made with the staff on my visit," said Low.  "The beautiful campus and excellent facilities made this an easy choice to call Santa Clara my home."

During his sophomore campaign, the 6-foot-5 right-handed pitcher posted a 3.50 ERA, struck out 30 batters over 26 innings while holding the opposition to a .220 batting average.  Hitting from the left-side, Low had a slash line of .360/.467/.480.

Low played his summer baseball for the Colorado Rockies Senior Scout Team.

"Quinton comes out of Chatfield Senior High and has a real chance to be a dominant force in the West Coast Conference," said Broncos head coach Rusty Filter.  "Right now he is a two-way player with a powerful left-handed swing. On the mound, he has a low 90's fastball and has worked very hard to continue to climb the velocity ladder. We are really excited to add Quinton to the Bronco Boy family."

Our next future Bronco, Sam Smith, will be announced the week of December 14.
