Baseball Travels for a Midweek Series Against Oregon State

Baseball Travels for a Midweek Series Against Oregon State
SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara baseball continues its stretch of playing eight games in 10 days when they travel to Oregon State for a two-game midweek series on Tuesday and Wednesday.  The first pitch for both days is at 5:35 p.m.

Coming off a tough weekend losing all three games in the West Coast Conference opener to Gonzaga, the Broncos (6-12) make their first and only trip out of California during the regular season.  After facing the Beavers (13-4), Santa Clara will remain in the state and play a WCC series against Portland over the weekend to close out the road trip.

Oregon State took two out of three games at home against Washington State in the Pac-12 opener last weekend.  The Beavers have played more games against WCC opponents than the Broncos have this season with four, winning a neutral site matchup with Gonzaga in the Sanderson Ford College Baseball Classic tournament (Feb. 21) and sweeping BYU at home (March 4-6).
