MADRID, Spain - Buenas Dias! It was a very long and very tiresome day of traveling from San Francisco to New York to Madrid, but Santa Clara men's basketball has officially landed in Spain for the first leg of their 2022 foreign tour. After rolling out of the Leavey Center via bus at 4:45 a.m. on August 19, the Broncos finally reached their destination of the Westin Palace Madrid around 9:00 a.m. local time on August 20. The flights to get here were long, but the destination was well worth it. Check out some of the sights and sounds from day one.
