Men's Hoops Ready For Big Showdown Against LMU Tomorrow

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball is looking to continue their winning ways as they get set to host LMU for a 4 p.m. tip on Saturday inside the Leavey Center. The game will be a regional television broadcast carried by NBC Sports California.

NOTES

  • The Broncos will look to pick up thier third-straight win after wins over USF and San Diego.

  • Keshawn Justice is set to become the program's all-time leader in career games played. He currently has 137 apperances - tied for the most all-time. With one more, he'll have the top spot all to himself. 

  • SCU is coming off a, 80-75 come from behind victory over San Diego. Keshawn Justice and Carlos Stewart scored 18 and 16 points, respectively, in the second half to fuel the comeback.

  • Brandin Podziemski scored 20 points in the San Diego win for his 10th 20-point game on the year. Stewart is right behind him with nine such games.

  • The backcourt duo is averaging 20.4 (Podz) and 18.6 (Stewart) ppg in the last five games are shooting a combined 48.3 percent from the field.

  • Podziemski leads the team in PPG (19.0), RPG (8.1), APG (3.2) and SPG (1.88). He ranks third in the WCC in both PPG and RPG.

  •  Parker Braun is tied for third in the WCC with 26 blocks.
