SANTA CLARA, Calif. – For the final time during nonconference play, Santa Clara women's basketball hits the road to take on CSUN Wednesday at 5 p.m.

The Broncos dropped a close contest 69-65 at Cal Saturday in their lone action last week.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 8-3 all-time against CSUN with the first meeting coming in 1990-91. Last season the Broncos fell to the Matadors 53-38 at home.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (4-5) averages 70.6 points per game as a team on 43.9-percent shooting from the field and 33.3-percent from downtown. The Broncos allow 65.7 ppg and marks of 38.2-percent and 26.0-percent.

Tia Hay leads the team in scoring (12.4 ppg) and assists (4.0 pg) to go with 2.6 rebounds per game. Ashlyn Herlihy scores 11.1 ppg and leads the team with 7.2 rpg. Merle Wiehl has knocked down a team high 15 3-pointers while scoring 10.7 ppg and adding 4.0 rpg. Lauren Yearwood's 17 blocks are the most on the team and she scores 10.0 ppg with 6.6 rpg.

THE MATADORS
CSUN (3-7) is scoring 57.6 ppg on 33.9-percent shooting from the field while allowing 65.8 ppg on 40.1-percent.

De'Jionae Calloway leads the team in scoring ang rebound with marks of 13.7 ppg and 9.4 rpg. Deja Williams has scores 9.8 ppg and Jordyn Jackson adds 9.3. Hayley Tanabe leads the team with 3.6 apg and scores 5.0 ppg as well.
