SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball closes out the home portion of its schedule against San Diego Saturday at 2 p.m. for Senior Day.

Prior to the game Erica Meyer, Tia Hay, Addi Walters, Lauren Yearwood, Naomi Jimenez, Madison Piper, Emily Wolph, and Tamia Braggs will be honored.

The Broncos dropped a 60-51 game to BYU on Thursday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 36-41 all-time against San Diego with the first meeting coming in 1984-85. The Toreros won at home earlier this season behind a second half comeback.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (9-17, 3-12 WCC) averages 67.7 points per game on 40.8-percent shooting from the field and 32.5-percent from downtown.

Tia Hay averages a team leading 12.5 ppg and 3.5 assists per game while also leading with 25 steals. Ashlyn Herlihy grabs a team high 7.0 rebounds per game while adding 10.0 ppg. Merle Wiehl has knocked down a team best 34 3-pointers and is scoring 8.8 ppg. Lauren Yearwood leads the Broncos with 36 blocks and adds 6.0 ppg and 5.2 rpg. 

THE TOREROS 
San Diego (17-9, 11-4 WCC) is winning with defense, allowing just 57.4 ppg. The Toreros on offense score 60.9 ppg on 37.5-percent shooting and 25.1-percent from beyond the arc.

Myah Pace leads the team with 11.6 ppg and 3.1 spg while adding 5.1 rpg and 2.9 apg. Madison Pollock scores 10.6 ppg with 6.2 rpg and Jordynm Edwards scores 9.8 and leads San Diego with 32 3-pointers made and 3.7 apg. Patricia Brossmann leads the team with 6.4 rpg and adds 5.9 ppg.

LIVE STREAM
Joe Ritzo and Kevin Danna handle play-by-play duties at home on the WCC Network. All Broncos home games and West Coast Conference contests (not on an ESPN platform, CBS Sports Network or BYUtv) will also be streamed through WCC Network. Kevin Danna will call the action in Tuesday's season opener against UC Santa Cruz.

Group discounts are also available through our ticket office sales and service consultants. Doors to Leavey Center, as well as its ticket office, are open one hour prior to the start of the game.

PARKING
For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot (see below for access), located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located adjacent to Stevens Stadium on Palm Drive. The construction of the Stephen C. and Patricia A. Schott Athletic Excellence Center has necessitated the closure of the main entrance (off Accolti Way) to the Leavey Center parking lot. Access is now ONLY directly from El Camino Real (Route 82). If you are traveling east on El Camino Real, the Leavey lot entrance will be approximately 150 yards on the right (enter through the black iron gate) after you pass the main campus entrance. If you are traveling west on El Camino, make a u-turn at the main campus entrance at Palm Drive/Railroad Ave and follow the same directions.
