SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball wraps-up the opening weekend of West Coast Conference play with a visit from Saint Mary's Monday at 5 p.m.

The Broncos opened conference action with a 75-65 win over Pacific on Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 35-42 all-time against Saint Mary's with the first meeting coming in 1978-79. Last season the Gales picked up a pair of wins over the Broncos.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (7-5, 1-0 WCC) is averaging 73.0 points per game while allowing 64.8. The Broncos shoot 44.6-percent from the field and 34.3-percent from beyond the arc. On defense, they allow marks of 36.6 and 25.1.

Tia Hay's 12.8 ppg lead the team as do her 4.1 assists per game. Merle Wiehl adds 11.7 ppg and 4.8 rebounds per game while leading the team with 22 3-pointers made. Ashlyn Herlihy leads the team with 7.3 rpg and is scoring 11.1 ppg with Lauren Yearwood adding 8.9 ppg and 6.5 rpg.

THE GAELS 
Saint Mary's (6-6, 1-0 WCC) is averaging 73.3 ppg while allowing 71.4. The Gaels shoot 44.2-percent from the floor and 37.2-percent from downtown. Their opponents are shooting 40.9-percent from the field and 34.5-percent from 3-point land.

Sam Simons leads the team in scoring with 15.6 ppg an Emily Codding leads with 8.3 rpg while adding 15.1 ppg as well. Madeline Holland's 5.7 apg lead the team to go with 12.2 ppg and Taycee Wedin scores 11.8 ppg with a team best 40 3-pointers made.

All Broncos home games and West Coast Conference contests (not on an ESPN platform, CBS Sports Network or BYUtv) will also be streamed through WCC Network. Kevin Danna will call the action in Tuesday's season opener against UC Santa Cruz.

Group discounts are also available through our ticket office sales and service consultants. Doors to Leavey Center, as well as its ticket office, are open one hour prior to the start of the game.

PARKING
For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot (see below for access), located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located adjacent to Stevens Stadium on Palm Drive. The construction of the Stephen C. and Patricia A. Schott Athletic Excellence Center has necessitated the closure of the main entrance (off Accolti Way) to the Leavey Center parking lot. Access is now ONLY directly from El Camino Real (Route 82). If you are traveling east on El Camino Real, the Leavey lot entrance will be approximately 150 yards on the right (enter through the black iron gate) after you pass the main campus entrance. If you are traveling west on El Camino, make a u-turn at the main campus entrance at Palm Drive/Railroad Ave and follow the same directions.
