Santa Clara steam rolled through the WCC Tournament last week as the third seed, going a perfect 4-0, beginning with a win-or-go-home game in the opening round against Gonzaga. The Broncos then exploded with a 15-3 win over Portland and a 17-3 win over Saint Mary's to make it to the championship game where they shutout No. 2 seed Portland 6-0 en route to the first conference title since 1997 and the first conference tournament title ever.
The Broncos will enter the postseason on an eight-game winning streak while having won 17 of their last 20. The 35 wins so far this season are the most since the 1997 campaign when the team won 41.
Santa Clara will play the third overall seed Razorbacks in the first game. Date and time for matchups will be announced later.
