Hunter Hayes (2-4) started and tossed 6 innings while allowing two runs on five hits with four walks and five strikeouts. Hunter Schilperoort went the final 3 innings.
The Broncos (16-10, 5-3 WCC) answered Pacific's fourth inning when John Hanley tripled in a pair to cut the deficit in half in the top of the fifth but it was the lone runs of the game for Santa Clara.
Jared Feikes (5-1) ended up with the loss. He started and went 4 innings, allowing five runs on seven with two walks and two strikeouts.
