STOCKTON, Calif. – Santa Clara baseball dropped the second game of its series 7-2 at Pacific Saturday.

The Tigers (9-16, 1-7 WCC) broke the scoreless tie with a four-run fourth and added single runs in each of the next three innings for some insurance.

James McClenagh led the way on offense with three hits, including a double, two runs scored, and an RBI. Ben Nemivant, Colby Canales, and Jacob Weiss all had multi-hit games as well with Chaz Myers knocking in a pair of runs.

Hunter Hayes (2-4) started and tossed 6 innings while allowing two runs on five hits with four walks and five strikeouts. Hunter Schilperoort went the final 3 innings.

The Broncos (16-10, 5-3 WCC) answered Pacific's fourth inning when John Hanley tripled in a pair to cut the deficit in half in the top of the fifth but it was the lone runs of the game for Santa Clara.

Jared Feikes (5-1) ended up with the loss. He started and went 4 innings, allowing five runs on seven with two walks and two strikeouts.
